What I appreciate about Dutch cities is how easy it is to find excellent locations for photos. The streets, lined with brick houses, provide an incredible backdrop for lifestyle shots—the warm neutral tones beautifully enhance the model's colors. To achieve the best results, I often recommend neutral colors to my clients because bold colors and patterns can distract the eye. For this project, my wonderful model Erica and I chose a neutral palette to highlight her natural features, resulting in a style that looks clean and effortless, without overshadowing her radiance.

For this shoot, I aimed for a casual look, as if I caught Erica on her way to meet a friend for coffee. This next photo was a super quick, spontaneous shot while we were waiting for the light to turn green. Bonus points for the striped traffic light poles, which are apparently quite popular among visitors to the Netherlands.
